The roof over the main living area rises up to over-sail the garage, where high north facing windows bring sunshine into these spaces without compromising privacy. The house is set back further from the street than many houses on Tea Tree Lane, allowing room for a large flat sunny lawn or garden in front of the house, where trees and other plantings can screen the house from the street for additional seclusion.
